Best of the Best, Purple Week, Business Connection, Placer Valley Eats, Grant Deadline

The Loomis Eggplant Festival Committee is launching a series of Social Media "Purple Week" events Sept. 28 through Oct. 3 to promote Loomis businesses. The Festival, which was scheduled to take place Oct. 3, has unfortunately been canceled this year due to the pandemic. Instead, organizers will launch a number of online events, kicking off with a Facebook Live Cooking Contest and sale of a Special Edition Eggplant Cookbook. Please submit your recipes for the special edition 2020 Eggplant Cookbook to [email protected]. The deadline to enter your best recipes is Friday, Aug. 31, 2020. Stay tuned for more exciting ways that you will be able to participate in this year's Eggplant Festival virtual events.
