Praise the Lord church!! We have received guidance to reopen our church services, to support a safe, clean environment for congregants, visitors and church staff. I have highlighted some key areas for you to review. There is a link at the bottom of this page, that will take you to the San Bernardino County COVID-19 Places of worship guidelines. PLACES OF WORSHIP San Bernardino County has announced the reopening of places of worship. Churches, synagogues, mosques and other ins...titutions are now able to resume in-person services (including funerals) if attendance is limited to 100 attendees or 25 percent of a building’s capacity, whichever is less. Key prevention practices include: Physical distancing to the maximum extent possible, o Cover your face6 Feet Apart (Families OK)Wash your hands Use of face coverings by employees and volunteers (where respiratory protection is not required) and congregants/visitors, Frequent handwashing and regular cleaning and disinfection, Training employees and volunteers on these and other elements of the COVID-19prevention plan. Upon 21-days, the California Department of Public Health, in consultation with county Departments of Public Health, will review and assess the impact of these imposed limits on public health and provide further direction as part of a phased-in restoration of activities in places of worship. The importance of frequent handwashing with soap and water, including scrubbing with soap for 20 seconds (or using hand sanitizer with at least 60% ethanol or 70% isopropanol when staff cannot get to a sink or handwashing station, per CDC guidelines). The importance of physical distancing, both at work and off work time (see Physical Distancing section below). Please make sure that you wear a protective face covering. Children must remain in the care of those in their household unit, and not interact with children of other parties. Play areas and children’s Sunday School activities will be postponed. Seating arrangements will be marked on the pews. Handshakes and hugs are discouraged. Family style eating will not be available. Coffee may be served by staff only, to decrease cross contamination.
