Registration for Fall classes is open. Enroll in The Addiction Studies Courses and become an Addiction Treatment Counselor in less than three years. Our program is state accredited. Attention Students in The Addiction Studies Program The state is reinforcing a regulation that Work-Experience hours must be done in a State Certified Agency. The Work-Experience hours are those hours that are/were done out of school: before, in-between, and after, the Field-Work Classes. This does NOT affect your LBCC graduation from the Addiction Studies Program, and it does NOT affect your 250 hours of practicum. The practicum hours are recognized, and upon the completion ...of the LBCC Addiction Studies Program, you will receive your LBCC certification(s), and as soon as you finish your HS 72B class with a passing grade or higher, you will still be eligible to sit for the state exam and become a CATC.
