Carmel Monterey Travel's London Theatre Tour 05.01.2021

#throwbackthursday Our 2017 tour included a double Olivier Awards winning performance of The Red Shoes at Sadler's Wells Theatre. The Red Shoes is a tale of obsession, possession and one girl's dream to be the greatest dancer in the world. Victoria Page lives to dance but her ambitions become a battleground between the two men who inspire her passion. The following morning our guest speaker was the brilliant Artistic Director, Sir Matthew Bourne. Another unforgettable experience in London Theatre!!#throwbackthursday#londontheatretour#carmelmontereytravellondontheatretour#carmelmontereytravel#sadler's wellstheatre#theredshoes#sirmatthewbourne

#throwbackthursday The Noël Coward Theatre presented All About Eve, a razor-sharp, unsettling exposé of the eternal fascination that lies at the heart of show-business. This stage adaptation of the iconic 1950 Oscar-winning film, (The film was nominated for 14 Academy Awards and won six, including Best Picture) which itself was based on Mary Orr’s original play The Wisdom Of Eve, starred BAFTA Award-winner Monica Dolan in the role of Karen. We were thrilled to have Monica Dolan as our guest speaker along with her special guest, the Olivier Award she had won for the role!! #throwbackthursday#londontheatretour#carmelmontereytravel#noelcowardtheatrelondon#allabouteve#monicadolan#baftalondon

Carmel Monterey Travel's London Theatre Tour 19.12.2020

#throwbackthursday On 11 September 2001 the world stopped. We all remember where we were and what was going on in our lives but what about all those people from many countries stranded on airplanes that were forced down in Canada? We knew planes coming to the United States were all grounded but did we realize what all those passengers did in the following days? Come From Away UK at the Phoenix Theatre gave us an insight into their lives and the lives of the amazing people that came together and managed to house, feed and comfort thousands. Truly an inspirational story! #throwbackthursday#londontheatretour#gandernewfoundland#carmelmontereytravel

Can you believe it? The 2020 London Theatre Tour is just a short four months away. That means your final payment will be due in full by October 15th, 2019, and then we can start the most exciting stage pre-planning: Purchasing tickets for the shows! Please remember, tickets are ONLY purchased for those guests who are paid in full by October 15th, and while additional tickets can be purchased after the 15th, the theaters are quite small and we can't guarantee availability t...o the same shows as the pre-paid members of the tour group. That means, if you are interested in joining this amazing trip, or know people who are, get those final payments in by October 15th, 2019. We don't want you or your friends to get wait-listed for what promises to be an amazing theatre season! If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Betty for further information or to reserve your space. We can't wait to share the spectacle and wonder of London's theatre with you. #throwbackthursday In April of 2019 we were thrilled to be in the audience as Dame Maggie Smith gave a spine tingling performance in her one woman show A German Life at the beautiful Bridge Theatre. The following morning the brilliant Jonathan Kent spoke to our group about directing such an icon of British Theatre. Moments not to ever be forgotten #CarmelMontereyTravel'sLondonTheatreTour #LondonTheatreTour#DameMaggieSmith#TheBridgeTheatreLondon#JonathanKent
