The Red Shoes is a tale of obsession, possession and one girl's dream to be the greatest dancer in the world. Victoria Page lives to dance but her ambitions become a battleground between the two men who inspire her passion. #throwbackthursday The Noël Coward Theatre presented All About Eve, a razor-sharp, unsettling exposé of the eternal fascination that lies at the heart of show-business. This stage adaptation of the iconic 1950 Oscar-winning film, (The film was nominated for 14 Academy Awards and won six, including Best Picture) which itself was based on Mary Orr’s original play The Wisdom Of Eve, starred BAFTA Award-winner Monica Dolan in the role of Karen. #throwbackthursday On 11 September 2001 the world stopped. We all remember where we were and what was going on in our lives but what about all those people from many countries stranded on airplanes that were forced down in Canada? We knew planes coming to the United States were all grounded but did we realize what all those passengers did in the following days? Come From Away UK at the Phoenix Theatre gave us an insight into their lives and the lives of the amazing people that came together and managed to house, feed and comfort thousands.
