Have you ever wondered why there is no private Facebook group for all of California Odd Fellows (and a place for non-members in California to learn more about Odd Fellows)? Wonder no more! Join our group as we chat and laugh and talk all things California as Odd Fellows! https://www.facebook.com/groups/californiaoddfellows

Know a college-bound freshman who could use a $1,000 payable to their school and they can write a 300-word essay about their experience during the pandemic? https://lompocoddfellows.com/essay

What a great lodge name!

Check out our new lodge... While it's not quite the Odd Fellows lodge that you may be accustomed to seeing with three links of Friendship, Love and Truth surrounded by our emblems such as the hourglass, the axe, the coffin and more, this is what it looks like now in a time of pandemic. The good news? Plenty of acceptance of the new way of doing things. A good deal more intimate. A bit less formal.... The bad news? Members need to be reminded to not have a TV running in the background. Be careful not to talk over each other. Like anything, what we are doing will improve with time. For 200 years (and less), lodges have operated continuously without the need to completely halt meetings in a hall or lodge. It's funny how we are very close to our 201st anniversary in April and that we are faced with the prospect of not knowing when we can return to our halls and lodges.
