Santa Barbara County has installed an Official Ballot Dropbox in the front of the Los Olivos Community Hall, next to Lavinia Park in Los Olivos, where you can securely drop off you ballot during this year's election season. Los Olivos Community Organization is happy to help make voting easier this year.

On Wednesday, February, 19th, at 7:00pm, the Santa Ynez Valley Natural History Society, the Santa Ynez Valley Botanic Garden, the Los Olivos Library and the Los Olivos Community Organization are hosting a free lecture with Dr. Heather Schneider on Rare Plants of Santa Barbara County at the Los Olivos Community Organization Hall. It will be very informative.

LOCO had a very pleasant Holiday get together that featured Ben Bottoms giving an exceptional rendition of "Twas the Night Before Christmas."

Monday's Halloween Chili Pot Luck was very fun. I am still amazed at the incredible dragon costume that Jessica Beebe created. Here are a few photos of the fun.

Friday evening's Americana Harvest concert was a real treat. Terry, Jordi and Rick were very entertaining. Hope we'll see them again next year.

Next Friday, October, 25th, at 6:30 pm, Americana Harvest is performing at the Los Olivos Community Hall. Americana Harvest features singer song writers, Terry Klein, Jordi Baizan and Rick Shea. They are currently on tour of California and will be stopping in to Los Olivos to entertain us with their music. Terry Klein is a songwriter’s songwriter. His debut record, Great Northern, was produced by Walt Wilkins. Great Northern appeared on multiple 2017 Ten-Best lists and gar...nered praise from Rodney Crowell and Mary Gauthier. Jordi Baizan is a first generation American and native Texan songwriter. His songwriting has garnered him recognition from several prestigious songwriting competitions including the Grassy Hill Kerrville New Folk Songwriting Competition, the Songwriter Serenade Competition, and the South Florida Folk Festival’s Singer/Songwriter Competition. Rick Shea is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist who lives in Southern California. His career spans four decades and in that time he has worked as a solo artist and with bands such as Chris Gaffney and The Cold Hard Facts and Dave Alvin's Guilty Men.
