We are happy to see the Biden Administration’s commitment in combatting bias incidents toward Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Hate crimes and senseless attacks against Asian Americans surged during the coronavirus pandemic and were exacerbated by former President Trump. The League of CA Cities API Caucus released a statement last April addressing this injustice and how to report these racist and violent acts.
