Artist Spotlight-Regina Rodriguez-Saenz/Hairstylist @hairbyregina Regina Rodriguez-Saenz When did you join Local 706? 2010 ... What is your favorite hairstyle to create? I love challenges. Any hairstyle where the talent feels confident wearing their own hair. It makes me feel like I've done a good job. I’m my own worst critic. What inspired you to become a hairstylist? I loved the artistry that hairstyling brings. I love that I could make something out of nothing and make someone feel like the best version of themselves. What is your secret to winning multiple Emmys and MUAHS Guild Awards? I’m truly inspired by everyone I work around. I’m a serious fan of many hairstylists I work with. Everyone inspires me to always give my best and to continue to grow as an artist. I am a team player, any awards that come with doing my job is an added bonus. What is your favorite union project to date? The Young & the Restless. I earned my union days here, met my best friends and now husband. It always feels like home.
Here's a list of Halloween union-made treats that will make your holiday fun and help working families too.
The Coalition of Labor Union Women just dropped a video that empowers women to be leaders in their communities and in the political arena. This video is a representation of the journey, one that begins with women’s voices and Women’s Vote.
This book should be in every breakroom

A statement from the Legal Department about one of our heroes and icons. The Honorable Ruth Bader Ginsburg March 15, 1933-September 18, 2020 The death of Jus...tice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Shabbat makes her a Tzaddeket, a designation in the Jewish tradition reserved for those known for righteous deeds. That Justice Ginsburg’s transition also occurred on Rosh Hashanah makes her a person of Great Righteousness. May her memory inspire us to action. Shelike the Greek poet Archilochusis saying Be brave, my heart. Plant your feet and square your shoulders to the enemy. Meet him among the man-killing spears. Hold your ground. In victory, do not brag; in defeat, do not weep. Let us get to work building on the considerable and unparalleled legacy of The Righteous Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She fought the good fight; she finished the race; she kept the faith. She competed well. It is now our turn. Shame on us if we let her down. ~The IATSE Legal Department
