Nov 5th, 2020 Word of Encouragement For the sake of the Elect How will we respond, how will we be agents of revival, how will we be ministers of reconciliation?... 1. Remember Who You Are You and I are meant to tell and re-tell God’s story, calling others into His plotline. Whether a political leader persecutes that story or aligns with it matters not because it’s written by God and lived-out by citizens of His Kingdom. What is his story? Jesus’ Kingdom is not an earthly kingdom (John 18). You and I are citizens of heaven (Phil 3) and what really matters is new creation (Gal 6). 2. Remember Who God Is God is good and does only good (Ps 119), he is sovereignly working all things for our good (Rom 8, he is love (1 John 4), and God looks like Jesus (Col 2). No matter what does or does not happen around you, God remains. Whether you’re persecuted or in a position of power, God’s Kingdom advances, God‘s light continues to overcome darkness (John 1). This is why Hebrews 10 describes Jesus’ followers as those who can joyfully accept the plundering of their property. When we fix our eyes on Jesus, we forget about our rights, our possessions, our lives. God is just that good. 3. Be Salt and Light The Great Commission is still our prime directive (Mat 28). As agents of God’s new creation, we preach reconciliation (2 Cor 5). Love is the main thing. It’s how we obey Jesus and it’s how the lost get to know Him (John 13). Practically speaking, that means avoiding disputes (Titus 3) and living out the humble role of a peacemaker (Mat 5). We proclaim a singular message: the life of the Age to Come, the fullness of God’s original design, has broken into the here-and-now. Whatever your need, Jesus has made the way to step into new creation today. Through ministering physical healing, emotional healing, deliverance from demons, by embodying the fruit of the Spirit and operating in the gifts of the Spirit, we declare the good news of our King and His Kingdom. Believe the best about others. Assume the best. Be hopeful about yourself, about other people, about the USA and the rest of the world. Never give up. Be patient with people. Be kind. Be great-hearted (1 Cor 13). Pray earnestly for your leaders. In sum, remember who you are, remember who God is, step out among the hurting, and be salt and light. [Global Awakening]

IN GOD WE TRUST! Psalm 33:12 Voting Is A Prophetic Act! Let's get political, ya'll! Did you know voting can be a prophetic act? One of the ways we as Christians get to participate with our government, especially in a democracy where when we can vote, this act is actually intercession. It's tying our value system to something God wants to do on the earth. We have a responsibility to vote, not just because we are part of a country, but because as Christians when we vote part o...f our heart is present there. You may feel like your vote may not even be counted towards the win, and sometimes this causes people not to vote. This is a selfish and non-Christlike way to think. I live in Los Angeles where a lot of the times I know my vote will not count directly. But, in the Spirit it counts! It's like an arrow to the heart of an issue where I"m tying my values. One of the ways we advocate is by voting. It's not only important as a prophetic act, but it's also important as a community act. I want to encourage you in this next season, look at your opportunities to vote in and ask God what He would have you do for your region, for your city, for your country and vote as a prophetic intercessory act. Stand for Kingdom! Vote with God! (Bolz) See more
