This past week, our six brands decided to go mute and pause our usual social media posts and email sends in an effort to amplify black voices. But in going mute, we also recognize that we cannot remain silent when it comes to racism and injustice. As a media company with a platform, we know how important it is to champion diversity and inclusion, and stand up in solidarity and support of the Black Lives Matter movement. Our brands are donating to the following organizations a...nd will continue to work on sharing more diverse perspectives across our family of sites. We invite you to check them out (links in comments below): Official George Floyd Memorial Fund Reclaim the Block Color Of Change NAACP Legal Defense Fund Campaign Zero The Loveland Foundation Black Visions Collective Black Youth Leadership Project Silicon Valley DSA Bay Area Black Owned Business Relief Fund In addition, we granted each of our employees a paid day off to put their words into action - to protest, volunteer, call representatives in government, write. We know we can do better if we seek to make change, it is important that we actively make choices that allow BIPOC experiences to shine through. There’s a lot of work to be done and we hope you will join us in contributing to the movement.
