Pssst... HOME BUYER SECRET.... The South Bay Market is on and...... CRAZY COMPETITIVE Nearly every home will have multiple buyers competing over it. And if you’re not prepared for that... It can be heartbreaking To walk into a house that feels like home And get beat out again...and...again. So what can YOU do to get your offer accepted among a stack of other highly qualified buyers?!? Yes, you need a strong offer price. Yes, you need good terms But it doesn’t **ALWAYS*** come down to price. In this sellers market, the Seller has the pick of the litter. So you need to stand out as a PERSON . When you shop for a house it can be pretty scary Lots of land mines and potentially expensive mistakes can be made. When it comes to fixes and repairs, most people can handle updating kitchens, throwing in some new paint and carpet.... But if you’re not DIY or construction savvy, these 4 areas are ones you’ll want to pay extra attention to: check age and condition of the roof. check for cracks and/or major issues with the foundation. make sure the plumbing and electrical are in good shape. and one that is VERY often overlooked is a sewer line inspection. (About $250 for peace of mind) A home inspection is done after the offer is accepted and will run you about $300-$500. Most homes aren’t perfect and unless it’s new construction there’s always gonna be something but it’s always better to know sooner than later. happy hunting.
