Through the leadership of the City Council, the @cityoflivermore has provided $2 million in COVID-19 financial relief to Livermore businesses and residents. This assistance will position Livermore to come back from this pandemic stronger than ever, together.
Alameda County is now an Orange Tier county!
Our Office is pleased to announce that our Commercial Rent Abatement Matching Program is now available. We are now accepting joint applications from eligible commercial landlords and their small business tenants or lessees that have gross receipts of not more than $10 Million and have experienced financial loss as a result of COVID-19. The program provides financial assistance of up to $7,500 in matching funds when a commercial landlord has or will permanently waive unpaid... rent during the COVID-19 public health emergency. The cumulative total funding available for this program is $409,000. This program is on a first come-first served basis and will be available until all funds are exhausted. The SBA is giving exclusive access to the Paycheck Protection Program to small businesses with less than 20 employees starting tomorrow at 6am PT (or 9am ET) for 14 days as part of their efforts to promote equitable relief to America’s small businesses. ANNOUNCEMENT: State Health Officials Lift All Regional Stay at Home Orders Statewide. Alameda County moves back to the most restrictive Purple Tier on the State's Blueprint for a Safer Economy (https://covid19.ca.gov/safer-economy/) as of today, January 25. Under the Purple Tier, outdoor dining and indoor salons may reopen, among other sectors and following strict guidelines. The City is working with our local restaurants to re-establish outdoor dining. The COVID-19 pandemic... is far from over. Residents are strongly encouraged to continue to stay home as much as possible, continue to wear masks, maintain physical distance, wash hands frequently, and get vaccinated when eligible.
