Rover, the bronze dog statue on the Upper Eastside’s Garden Street is a local icon in town. Proudly posing in front of his historical home, he is loved by everyone and has a special costume for every holiday. Still to this day my children get excited about what he is going to wear. The statue was reportedly brought here by the second owner of the home from Michigan in 1904. Isn’t he handsome?!
