There is nothing more humbling...get up early to feed, clean stalls, groom horses...and just as I finish working in the roundpen with a yearling a sound comes floating in on a breeze.. I stop...and stand mesmerized by the sound of Taps playing at the cemetery down the road. We, at Little Tombstone Ranch recognize the blessing we have in this great life...a blessing granted by those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
