Join us for a mother-daughter wreath making picnic, Saturday May 1st. Each mother-daughter duo will get to make a rustic eucalyptus door wreath (for mom) and a mini wicker bedroom wreath (for daughter) using fresh silver dollar eucalyptus grown on our property. Each mother-daughter duo will also get their own special charcuterie box made for 2, full of yummy goodies to snack on, including special kid-friendly snacks. Bring your own blanket for a cozy picnic-style workspace on... our peaceful family farm in Loma Rica. Plenty of space to spread out and distance with a few games and activities outside for the kids to play with when they are done crafting! Ideal for ages 8-12, but all ages welcome! Date: Saturday May 1st, 10:30-11:30 am (weather permitting. We will reschedule if weather interferes) Cost: $50 includes mother + daughter, additional daughter $10 per person. Happy Groundhog Day! We haven’t found any groundhogs on the property, but we have found a few of these Woolly bear caterpillarsalso called woolly worms. They have a reputation for being able to forecast the coming winter weather. If their rusty band is wide, then it will be a mild winter. The more black there is, the more severe the winter. Join me on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 @ 10:00 10:45am for a virtual FamilySOUP Sensory Play group for Sutter County families that have a child with special needs ages 0 to 5 Come and do sensory friendly activities with us as we explore our senses. This month’s theme is Hearts and Valentines. Leanne Cox from Little Stars will be leading us in songs, music and a variety of activities. The day before the ZOOM event, we will be making a delivery to your home. The delivery will i...nclude playdough and cut-outs, ribbon wands, puff balls to stir in a bowl, a Valentine card that we’ll be creating, and a delicious heart-shaped cookie from the Cookie Tree. BIG NEWS!!!!!! As of January 1st Ms Amanda Stentzel will be taking over as the new owner of the studio. She will be running all of the studio classes under a new studio name Rising Stars (check out her fb page below) I will be opening a new location for Little Stars music and movement classes along with an outdoor nature STEM program in the Loma Rica Area anticipated to open mid-2021 (stay tuned for more details coming soon). We want this to be a seamless transition for a...ll of our studio families, and I have been working with her closely to help make this happen! Follow her new Facebook page for information on Spring enrollment happening soon. While this has been an incredibly heart-wrenching decision for me, there is no one I would trust the studio to other then Ms Amanda!! She has my full confidence and support as she builds upon what I have created, to make it her own beautiful version of our studio’s mission.
