April is Autism Awareness Month! Frequently I'm asked, "Does my child has autism?" The M-CHAT-R is a screening tool that helps parents answer this question. It is always good to talk this over with your pediatrican, then they can decide if your child needs a referral to a psychologist or developmental pediatrian to diagnose. Early intervention and getting the help your child needs is critical in supporting them.
