"When thinking about selling, homeowners often feel they need to get their house ready with some remodeling to make it more appealing to buyers. However, with so many buyers competing for available homes right now, renovations may not be as vital as they would be in a more normal market. Here are two things to keep in mind if you’re thinking of selling this season....." [Click the link below to read the full article] -Lisette

You found the right home and applied for a mortgage, you're excited and ready to decorate! but wait! Here are 6 things you should think about after applying! ... 1. Don't deposit cash into your bank accounts before speaking with your bank or lender. // You need to have a financial trail, lenders need to know where the cash is coming from. 2. Don't make any large purchases (Ex. Car or New Furniture)// This can affect your ability to qualify for the loan you just applied for! Hold off on the large until the deal is closed. 3. Don't co-sign for anyone// This counts as an obligation on your behalf even if the payment isn't coming from you. 4. Don't change bank accounts// Consistency, consistency, consistency.. Lenders like that. Change your bank accounts later to avoid any mishaps. 5. Don't apply for new credit// Your FICO score is affected every time an organization checks your credit. If it lowers your score, this can affect your interest rate and even your eligibility. 6. Don't close any credit accounts// The length of your credit history matters because it shows a track record. Closing an account can cause this history to vanish! Bottom line-- Hold off on any major money moves until AFTER you close on your deal! This will get you through the financing process hassle free. In order for you to use your time wisely, you need to know what keeps taking your time. . You can either eliminate these time wasters or minimize the time doing them. . 1. Social Media- Don't get sucked in for hours. Set a time limit for yourself and get back to your day... 2. No Plans- Planning your days ahead of time can eliminate any non-essential tasks. Get what you need to get done then enjoy the spare time. 3. Say No- If it doesn't fit into your schedule or you simply don't want to do something, say no- You'll be happy you did it. 4. Don't Worry- You can't control everything so don't act it. Focus on what you can control. 5. Leave Negative Vibes Behind- Choose your crew wisely. They influence you more than you realize. 6. Dwelling in Past Mistakes- Lots of time can be wasted here. Take mistakes and turn them into lessons then move on. 7. Don't focus on what other ppl are doing- You lose time on focusing what you should be doing. 8. Put yourself first- Your dreams and goals are worth it. Don't let someone else convince you otherwise. . See more
