VIGIL Monday 6pm: Dear Neighbors and Community, On Saturday, a 55-year-old man was shot and died at Mandana Plaza Park (Lakeshore & Mandana), where neighbors created a memorial for Black Lives. We are so saddened by this tragedy and hope for peace and healing for our entire community. Please join us Monday at 6pm at Mandana Plaza Park for a vigil to mourn the victim and his family, grieve together as a community, and commit to end gun violence. This event is organized by community leaders including: Councilmember Nikki Fortunato Bas; Rev. Jim Hopkins, Lakeshore Avenue Baptist Church; and the Lakeshore Business Improvement District.
