Most people I've asked don't even know one word in Portuguese But if you're part of the growing community taking on this beautiful language (even if you only know one word!), what if you could sound like a native Brazilian from the get-go?! If you already speak Spanish, Portuguese *will* be more understandable, sure... ... But actually speaking is a whole different story The #pronunciation is what makes it so unique! Even within the country of #brasil you'll find the #accents vary from region to region The good news? As a non-native, you'll be able to choose your identity in Portuguese Next month I'll be hosting a FREE introductory Portuguese pronunciation workshop for anyone interested in learning more about Brazilian Portuguese Follow the bio link to sign up. I'll message details to those interested #freetraining #portuguese #brazilianportuguese #accentcoach #dialectcoach #pronunciation #pronuncia #linguistics #linguistix

Whether you're working on your #italian for a visit to Firenze or you're already fluent and trying to sound a little more native, send me a message or visit the site, and I'll show yo...u how you can master your Italian accent once and for all! #accent #italia #italiano #linguistics #accentcoach #parliamo #linguistix #lingue #accento #andiamo

Love me some Guillermo, but even I missed this clue the first time around The difficulty here is that the most important words in the sentence (noun and verb) were mispronounced and suddenly the whole sentence loses clarity. The listener then has to choose: Baulk? Bug? Buck? Bog? And with the word "shake" we hear a CH instead of an SH - very common in northern Latin America since most varieties of Spanish don't have an SH sound to distinguish the two. So we get "chake" ... Just a little extra (too much?) information for you on this fine Thurs evening I also love how Jimmy transitions it back without adding judgement or negative remarks. Classy.

Use your daily vocabulary as a source of pronunciation practice, and get the repetition you need to start seeing results sooner. Looking for some personalized feedback? Perhaps a coach that speaks your language *and* the target language? Check out the site and related videos for some extra tips to get you going. It all starts with the accent. Make the right first impression, and put yourself at ease for the rest of the conversation knowing what sounds clear in natural to a native speaker If you're looking to take your Spanish skills to the next level if your partner is a Spanish-speaker or if you're simply curious as to how anyone goes about their accent visit the site and learn more about what Linguistix can offer you.... You can use me as your private coach, you can join our weekly workshops every Tuesday, and the first Spanish pronunciation course is coming later this year! Follow Spanish Speaking Hacks for a nice taste of what we do each week. #spanish #accent #linguistics #linguistix #coach #learnalanguage #accentsspeaklouder #firstimpressions
