It was so inspiring to participate at Models of Pride yesterday - a gathering of LGBTQ youth, their parents and professionals coming together to celebrate their beautiful diversity. Models of Pride 27 is on Saturday, October 19, at Los Angeles City College (LACC). Models of Pride is the world’s largest FREE conference for LGBTQ youth & allies, including parents and professionals. The full-day event includes an Opening Session, over 130 workshops, lunch, a resource fair, college fair, job fair, dinner, entertainment hour, and outdoor dance party all free! FYI, I'll be doing 2 workshops for parents/professionals: "What You Don't Know About Your Child's Gender or Sexual Identity" AND "Parent's Transition Too." Can't wait! https://modelsofpride.org/

HAT’S OFF to Sephora and the staff at the Manhattan Beach store who offered a free make-up class for trans women this morning. I attended with the goal of observing so I could feel good recommending these on-going events to clients. The staff were incredibly warm and affirming and invited me to play with product and I left with a goodie bag full of sample products! I am so honored to be part of the staff at Camp Brave Trails. You can follow the action on their Instagram site. This morning we raised the Trans flag and the campers spoke about their journeys. What an incredible experience to see so many LGBTQ teens feeling so happy and proud!!
