At Lincoln Commujity Preschool, we embrace open-ended toys, such as blocks. We do not have toys with batteries for this exact reason below. Children can stimulate themselves. They do not need external stimuli.

Happy Veterans Day! In the spotlight: Teacher Debbie Teacher Debbie is a Navy veteran. She joined at the age of 19 and served during Desert Storm. After becoming a mother, she opened a licensed in-home childcare. As her children grew, she grew her knowledge of early childhood alongside them. Teacher Debbie spent 6 years learning from the iconic Bev Bos. While earning her Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and teaching/administrative credentials, Teacher Debb...ie worked her way up from yard duty to the Infant/Toddler Administrator for San Juan Unified School District. After 17 years of dedicated work at the school district, Teacher Debbie became the Director of Early Learning for the state of California. Teacher Debbie recognized that the real difference is in the classroom, working directly with children and families. In 2018, Teacher Debbie partnered with her daughter, Teacher Casey, to open Lincoln Community Preschool. Teacher Debbie now teaches the morning toddler program at Lincoln Community Preschool.
