Supporting the Thanksgiving dinner for those affected by the Camp Fire is yet another positive outcome of the annual turkey drive. Thank You Lincoln!!
Today is the day!!
Given the new need to support the Thanksgiving meal for those displaced by the Camp Fire- the goal is actually 1200 turkeys. Norm is one of the firefighters who started the turkey drive 4 years ago and has spearheaded the event each year since. Let's make him proud and hit the goal while he is taking care of business up in Paradise!! Thanks to Norm and all the folks who are working to get the situation under control.
Here is a little video from the day!! Thanks again for helping to make this a huge success. It was great to see Lincoln Police Department, City of Lincoln, Local Government, Lincoln Potters, WPUSD - Glen Edwards Middle School, Rods n Relics, Dave's Dawgs, Rotary Club of Lincoln CA USA, The Salt Mine Food Closet, Benjamin Anderson, Ron Nabity and many more out in supprt of our event.
Here are some pics from today's event. 878 frozen turkeys!! Thanks everyone!!
Thanks to the folks at Mr. Pickle's Sandwich Shops for bringing us frozen turkeys. We are off to a great start but still need everyone's help to make our goal of 600 turkeys
Lincoln Professional Firefighters are proud to announce that our friend Piper from the Lincoln Potters will be at this year's Turkey Drive to help collect donations.
