There is now a question as to when the lake will be fully open. We are getting briefings every few days. As of now, May 1st, 2020, the lake is open to shore and dock fishing. Also, non combustion engine boats that can be launched from shore such as kayaks and paddle boats are allowed on the lake itself. We will update after May 4th.

The 2nd Annual Crappie Tournament hosted by Limit Out Bait & Tackle is fast approaching. It will be a fantastic event with many more sponsors and prizes. If you haven't signed up yet now's the time. We hope to see you on Saturday Feb 22nd. Tight Lines.

We are looking forward to our upcoming season, and finally, it is here. First, we would like to thank each and everyone that fished, sponsored and volunteered t...o help. Our first tournament is scheduled for February 22 out of the Clearlake Oaks Boat Ramp. Our major change this year is to keep it simple, affordable, fun, and to make this circuit more designed for the weekend warrior. We have decided to not allow guides to fish our events and no off-limits for pre-fish. We are also looking to add a kayak, canoe, float tube event as a separate division. Good news is that August 31st is a free fishing day for those without a fishing license Have fun!

FYI... We are extending our hours. Especially staying open Sunday afternoons and after 5 pm on other days since the sun is up longer.
