Mother Nature creates molecules with two sides or hands, right and left. For reasons unknown to scientists, some right-handed molecules work best on skin, where...as some left-handed molecules are better received by the skin. It may be a more extensive and expensive route, but it has been Hale & Hush’s life work to only use the ‘hand’ of the lab-neutral molecule that best mimics Mother Nature’s perfect plan (aka: chirally correct). She wanted anti-aging so I that’s what I gave her, The Rezenerate Facial. First photo on the top left is her before the other three, after photos, show less lines around the eye, less redness and smoothing of the pores. Guys this is only one treatment done with the Rezen Pen. Instant results. Fabulous!

Who doesn’t love the warm glow and scent of a pretty candle? Though regular scented candles seem totally harmless, surprisingly they are a HUGE source of indoor air pollution. The chemicals that are put into the air are equivalent to and just as harmful as second hand smoke. Most regular candles are made from paraffin wax which is which is derived from petroleum. In the process of making wax for candles, the petroleum has to be bleached to be made into paraffin. So when burn...ed the highly toxic benzene and toluene are released into the air. These are both known carcinogens and the same chemicals found in diesel fumes. There are plenty of other toxic chemicals in regular candles and wicks aswell. Unfortunately, most candles are scented with synthetic fragrance which is a hormone disruptor and can aggravate allergies and asthma. Plus, many other gross and toxic chemicals like lead and acetone which are found in paints and varnish. The solution? Non-GMO soy wax, beeswax, coconut or hemp wax scented with natural essential oils. Fortunately, there are tons of options you just have to look for them. Happy Thursday Friends

Happy Sunday friends! Let’s talk mixing product line... Yes, absolutely! Many brands market there stuff to work together but it’s just that -MARKETING! A well formulated product from a line will work well with a product from another line as long as it is suitable for your skin type and does not contain known irritants. ... However, there are a few exception to be aware of. Certain active ingredients should not be used at the same time. Doing so can cause irritation, redness, sensitivity, even reactions such as dermatitis and even acne. Retinoids such as retinol or perscription strength Retin-A should not be used in combination with Apha-hydroxy acids. Pick one not both! Surprisingly, copper peptides which are found in many anti-aging moisturizers counteract the effectiveness of Vitamin C serum. If you happen to use both of these ingredients use the Vitamin C serum as a day product and the copper peptide at night. Many acne products contain high concentrations of salicylic acids or benzoyl peroxide. Prescription acne creams are even stronger. Only one type of these products should be used at a time and everything else in your regimen should be gentle.

Ingredients + Practices for Sensitive/Sensitized skin For a quick refresher, sensitive skin is a genetic skin type and sensitized/reactive skin is a skin condition and any skin type may experience. Looking for products that contain these ingredients as well as sticking to these practices can definitely help to improve both.
