PRIMARY RESIDENCE EXCLUSION You can be exempt from paying CAPITAL GAINS TAXES when you sell a primary residence that meets certain criteria. Individuals can exclude up to $250,000 of capital gains while a married couple can exclude up to $500,000. Under the Section 121 exclusion, you’ll have to own and use the property as your primary residence for two out of the five years immediately preceding the date of the sale. In addition, you’re only eligible if you haven’t taken a capital gains exclusion for any other property sold at least two years before this current sale.

Refund Delay Update! I have been making a lot of phone calls to IRS about our client refund statuses and the common answer still remains the same. IRS is requesting 10 business weeks for processing. ... We have been seeing refunds come in slowly with in 6-8 weeks of processing and some cases us calling has helped with the processed. But unfortunately for others we just have to wait and allow the IRS to manually process returns.

Además, todo ITIN emitido antes de 2013, con los dígitos 88 en el medio (Ejemplo: 9XX-88-XXXX), vencerá al final del año.
