Help Lighthouse Early Childhood Center raise funds for the kids of St. Jude! We're learning about trike safety with the St. Jude Trike-A-Thon, and our preschool is raising money to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with the St. Jude Trike-A-Thon. You can help us reach our fundraising goal for the kids of St. Jude, who are battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases. How your donation helps:... Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90% and won't stop until no child dies from cancer. Please donate to help us reach our goal! Bo Harris, from First Baptist Church, came by to read his newly published book, "Have You Ever Seen an Ostrich?" The kids loved hearing about Dewey the Ostrich's antics in the library!

Our first annual Trike-A-Thon for St. Jude Children's Hospital was a fun success! We tripled our goal and helped raise $2,965, and we're still going! Thank you to all who participated! Parents, check out all our pictures on our Shutterfly page!
