It's with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Liberated Lens and member, Dennis Terry. If you attended any of our screenings, you probably met Dennis at the front door. As a walking encyclopedia of film, Dennis was our chief curator. Dennis has a long list of contributions to the East Bay Community. He will be greatly missed.... In his honor, we plan to hold a memorial event that will include a screening of Sidewalk Stories -- a powerful film by an African-American filmmaker that Dennis introduced us to. Because of Covid closures, we've had to put his memorial on hold. But please be on the look out for an announcement in January 2021.
