We just learned that Walter Hooper just died this morning. Walter was C.S. Lewis's secretary shortly before Lewis's death in 1963. Walter served as literary adv...isor to the Lewis estate and editor of many of Lewis's books that were posted posthumously. Thanks to his tireless efforts, we have many works available by Lewis that weren't published before his death, particularly collections of essays, other short works, and letters. We last interviewed Walter in length in 2017 during our "Oxbridge" Summer Institute in Oxford. Walter has long been a friend of ours at the C.S. Lewis Foundation, participating in many of our events over the years. We will miss him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-lwOU-sLog&t=62s
