The Board of Trustees of the Learning and Loving Education Center nominated Director Christa Hanson to receive the prestigious Morgan Hill Community Foundation Philanthropist Award for 2020. It's usually Christa who nominates someone to receive this award, but THIS year, we turned the tables. We extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Christa for pouring every ounce of yourself into the Center since 2012. The Center will be sorely missed in the community and the warmth and love that Christa shared with the women, the volunteer teachers, the staff and and all of us will never be forgotten

World Kindness Day 2020. Be kind today and everyday!

The sign is gone, the shades are drawn and the doors are locked for the final time as today marks the end of nearly three decades of the Learning and Loving Education Center. #forgood #withgratitude

Last week, Managing Editor of Morgan Hill Life, Robert Airoldi wrote of the closing of the Center and its impact on the women and children.
