I’m back from Oregon and jumped back into teaching yesterday. I’ve missed you! Here are my grandsons Gunner, 9 months and Hunter, 6. My daughter Ethney and her husband Zack are the best parents, we all had a great time!

I’m headed to Oregon for Halloween with my daughter, her husband and 2 adorable grandsons! Keep singing and I’ll see you when I return.

I have been the Director of Music for Hillcrest Congregational Church for 17 years. During Covid as our church has been shut down we have been doing virtual services since March. Very pleased with new high notes added to her Soprano range, she has also made significant progress with the power in her high range. Marcela is taking lessons as a ‘gift to herself’ something she’s always wanted to do.

Teaching from home via live chat, I am using FaceTime, Google Duo and Facebook messenger video. I’m still with the California Guitar Academy but due to COVID-19 teaching from home keeps everyone safe. My rate for a 30 minute lesson is $30. Happy Sunday! This morning I wanted to share this photo of an annual event at my church, Hillcrest Congregational United Church of Christ where I have been the music Director for the last 18 years. Here we are, performing at the Ice Cream Social. I am missing all my friends and choir members!

Here is Aleena, a little girl with a big voice. We are working on expanding her high range and making those high notes stronger. Children like singing in their chest voice because it is easier and there is more volume in that range.
