We hope everyone is having a great Labor Day. It's a bit toasty in the desert but there is a little activity. The Ocotillo Wells and Anza-Borrego Desert State Parks are now open for vehicular traffic only. No camping or gatherings, but it's a start!! We're already taking reservations. Make your plans early. Well the desert is back to normal heat again. Last weekend was crazy hot! Good thing that kind of heat doesn't last but it does make the normal heat not so hot. Check out this baby jackrabbit that wondered into my yard. He hangs out enjoying the shade.

It's definitely summer time in the desert. I'ts 95 degrees at 5 am! Good thing I'm up and out early. Take care everyone, Deborah

It's the first weekend of summer! Summer in the desert is a quiet time. The lizards and iguanas are out and bunnies are everywhere! It's getting up and out early and in by noon and the pool has it's own solar heat time of year. We hope all our Lizard friends have a safe and sane summer. S&D

Greetings, we hope all had a good time over the Memorial Day weekend. It was a nice here in the desert, mid 90s and a breeze. Ya, we all know what a breeze is in the desert! The State Parks are still closed so it wasn't that busy. But there was plenty of time around the pool. As we come into June the desert season comes to an end. It's warmer this week, no breeze, and we're busy summerizing the RV Park. We'll still be here for those that want to come during summer. Just check the weather and call before you come out.
