It’s time to celebrate! Why? Because #BubbleCurtain number two is up and running in the east channel of the #TahoeKeys! That’s an extra layer of defense to keep nasty aquatic weeds out of #LakeTahoe. Here’s a refresh on how a #BubbleCurtain works: A vertical wall of bubbles is emitted from tubing laid on the bottom of the channel, which is connected to a compressor. The constant stream of bubbles dislodge plant fragments from passing boats. The angle of the bubble wall moves the fragments to the edges of the channel where they can be easily removed and kept out of the Lake. Go to bit.ly/TahoeKeys to learn more.
