"My husband and I were really struggling with our wedding planning. We weren't sure where to start and who to hire as an officiant. Scott and Gosia got married yesterday on the deck of their stunning new home in Estes Park, Colorado. It was % worth the flight from California. Despite pausing halfway through the ceremony to allow a storm to pass, the timing was perfect! Two hummingbirds visited just as they exchanged rings, the sun came out from behind the clouds right as I pronounced them wed, and the very moment I mentioned their doggie, the geriatric pup came meandering down the aisle, causing some tea...rs from the family. Michelle and Vineeth came all the way from Florida to elope in the redwoods of California. Since this was a second marriage for each of them, they wanted two ceremonies for good measure. We held one in Redwood Regional Park and the second down Skyline Blvd on a hillside with views of both San Francisco and Mount Diablo. Am I allowed to have a favorite wedding of the year? If that's even possible, I'd have to choose Adam and Chelsea. These two asked me to facilitate a 'community circle' prior to their ceremony. They shared their "first look" and were showered with love, insights and memories from their closest family and friends. A moment to cherish! Their wedding was in a magical redwood grove, and their community that celebrated with them was simply bursting with love for the two of them. Y...ou can tell from their photos what good people they both are, and that was echoed back from those around them on this day. WOW-- there are hardly words to describe a ceremony as stunning as this one. This setting, this family and this couple-- simply glorious! Yes, it was cold and wet, but the warmth of these hearts kept us all aglow. I was particularly moved by the vows directed to their wise 9 year old son.
