Adventurous couples are my jam today it was rainy. It was cold. And these two couldn’t have cared less! we had a blast wandering around Old Town Auburn taking Katie and Tyler’s engagement photos. They couldn’t stop smiling and the cold weather was the perfect excuse to cuddle . I had a blast too and my videographer @alex_aslanian tagged along to film some video. It was a great day! . MERRY CHRISTMAS & Happy New Year! I wish all of my family, friends and clients a wonderful holiday season and Happy New Year! I know I say this a lot, but you all are the reason I can pursue my passion. I love what I do and I'm so lucky I get to photograph so many amazing people and events every year. Real talk: Running a business is HARD. It's a struggle everyday and I'm 10x more stressed out doing this than if I was to go back to a 9-5. In fact, if you ask me at any given ...time how I'm doing, chances are I'm thinking about my business. It doesn't turn off. There are no weekends. BUT, it's freedom. It's incredible JOY at getting to work at something that's all my own. It's the love and genuine connection I feel to everyone who steps foot in front of my camera. I LOVE the feeling of knowing I'm capturing something important for all of you. I look at a photo of my clients and I think, wow, look at the EMOTION in this photo. Think about how they'll feel looking at this 10, 20, 30 years + from now! So while running this business gets heavy sometimes and there are much easier things than being self employed - I wouldn't change it for the world. I love thinking about my business everyday and how I can serve you all better. I work hard to give more value and higher quality year after year. Every single one of you is important to me. Photos are important to me. This business is important to me. And I just want to let you all know how thankful I am that you all let me be apart of your lives in such an intimate and emotional way.
