Dear Swim School Families and Friends, We hope that you are doing okay during this difficult time. We typically distribute our brochure for the summer swim season at the beginning of April, start scheduling lessons at the end of April, and start lessons at the end of May. ... FOR NOW THIS ENTIRE PROCESS IS ON HOLD. We don’t know how long this virus will continue or when operating restrictions will be lifted. Need for New Teachers Because we are a summertime-only employer, we have great employment opportunities for late high school and college-aged students and others. Lucile Cowle Swim School is looking for interested Customer Student Artists to design the artwork for our 2019 swimming lesson completion certificates: Rules: 1. Please submit art work on a white 8.5 x 11 paper.... a. On the back of the artwork (but not showing to the front) place the artist’s first and last name, age, address and phone contact number. (Use a light pencil or attach a label to mark this info on the back.) 2. Artwork can be colored or black and white and must be flat using any medium such as colored pencil, crayons, water color, chalk, etc 3. The Theme of the art work will be swimming lessons, water sports, water play, aquatic animals WATER FUN! 4. We will size and insert the artwork into our certificate. 5. Submit by snail mail (do not fold) or drop in Swim School mail slot by the deadline on Friday, May 10th. 6. We will choose four winners to adorn our swimming lesson completion certificates. Messages for 2017 Swimming Lessons will begin: FRIDAY, APRIL 28TH @ 3:00pm! (NEW TIME this year) We will receive over 200 calls in the first hour. Many calls are coming in each minute. The message service's computer puts them in order by time. Even if you call at exactly 3:00pm you may be caller #50 or ? We return our calls in the order that the service provides us. If you call before 3:00pm on Friday, April 28th your call will not returned with the first calls. Your ca...ll will go to the end of the day. Hoping this helps you understand our system.
