Racing is coming back, Velo Promo have some races permitted working on a few more.

This has been a heartbreaking week for our cycling community. Joe Shami was a wonderful bicycle advocate and familiar face on Mount Diablo, who sadly lost his life in a bicycle/car accident in Lafayette. Many of our club/team members knew Joe very well and rode with him often. Our condolences to his family and friends.

Yesterday we lost a local warrior and cycling legend, Jon Boas. Jon was an early member of our team (Taleo at the time) and was a true gentleman competitor, racing into his 70's which is just simply amazing. Always smiling and forever gracious, you would see him in the race scene in road races and time trials, as well as the local weekday rides. Those that were lucky enough to know him, will miss him dearly.... Our thoughts and prayers go to Jon and his family.
