A Message from Pastor Michael Dear Church Family: I want to remind you about the MLK Jr. Regional Church Event that will be online this Sunday, January 31st at 5pm. This is an annual gathering that is usually in person, but this year it will be on Zoom. There will be speakers and the presentation of the Disciple of the Year award and there will even be a tribute to Pastor Bill Thomas of which I will be a part. You can find the Zoom link on our regional website at discipl...espswr.org. Thank you for continuing to view our weekly online services. The viewership has been very strong and consistent, and for this we are pleased. If you are unsure of how to view the services, the instructions are at the bottom of this letter. Don’t forget that you can still purchase LBC Brand Coffee. We have been selling so much that we just had to buy more! To get your bags you can stop by the Church of the Valley office. It will be great to see you when you do. Thank you for your continued financial support of the church. I know that being away from the church buildings can cause us to forget about the ongoing expenses of the church. There are still, however, many bills to pay and other financial obligations that the church needs to fulfill. If you are able to contribute it is very much appreciated. It feels as if we are slowly getting to a place where we will once again be able to meet in person. I very much look forward to the day when we can. Until then, let’s remember to focus on hope and to keep our faith strong.
