In today's Pleasanton Weekly express there was an article about the accident at Stanley and Isabel where a truck was making a right turn and killed a bicyclists... crossing in the cross walk. The bicyclist was found to be at fault. I called LPD to clarify. She was at fault because she was riding her bicycle in a crosswalk. A bicycle is a vehicle and riding in a crosswalk is illegal so if you choose to do that be aware you are breaking the law. See more

As the result of our ...involvement, bike lanes will be widened in both directions from the bottom of the hill to Fairfax limits and "Bikes May Use Full Lane" signs will be added to the downhill side.
