What happens when you die without a will or a trust. If there was a will/trust Chadwick Boseman could have control who gets what, how much they get, and under what circumstances. With a trust his wife could have bypassed the probate process and maintained Mr. Boseman's privacy. Court fillings are generally open to the public and that's why we would know what type of assets he had at the time of his death.
