Next up for introduction is Tyler White! He started his beer career 7 years ago at Lakefront Brewery in Milwaukee, WI. After eventually falling in love with the craft, he moved to Los Angeles where he’s been pursuing beer nonstop for the past 5 years. Working with the likes of Mikkeller, Modern Times, the Glendale Tap and Walt’s Bar, he’s now joining the ranks at Lawless as Taproom Manager! Stop in and say hello anytime after April 27th!

We want to introduce you to some faces you’ll be seeing around the Lawless Taproom: First up, Head Brewer Josh McCombs! Josh discovered his love for all things fermented fifteen years ago while working as a scientist when he received a homebrewing kit as a birthday present. He eventually enrolled in the World Brewing Academy’s Master Brewer’s Program through the Siebel Institute of Technology in Chicago and Doemens Academy in Munich, Germany. After returning from Germany, Josh’s career brought him to LA, where he met Lawless founders Ben and Whitney Wallace, and the rest is history! Meet Josh in the taproom after we open to the public on April 27th!

Lawless Construction Updates! Inside and Out, our building is finally starting to look like a brewery. From fresh paint, to a new door, we’re completing the finishing touches, and we’ll be ready to share our beer here in the new year!

It’s kegging day at Lawless! We have big plans for our pilot batches - including this tasty treat, a sweet Golden Ale. We can’t wait until you can try it!

Bonjour , meet Rump Roast the Frenchie @lawlessbeer resident party animal! He’s never met a beer or a lady he didn’t love. So be careful, because Mr. Roast has been known to sneak a sip and a smooch!

Breweries are now allowed to open in LA County, so we're ramping up operations! The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors voted last week to allow us to open, outdoors with food trucks. Thank you to everyone who wrote a letter to our board members; more than 3,500 letters were sent in support. Special shoutout to @sfvchamber and @labrewers for championing the cause. We can't wait to share our beer with you!

Tank delivery is gettin' Lawless! Day 3 turned into Night 3 as we finished our fermenter unload... next step, installing these inside!

The fermenters have arrived! Can't wait to fill these with 900 gallons of North Hollywood's finest. See you in a few months... come thirsty, leave happy!

Our brewhouse is finally here! Head Brewer Josh McCombs unloaded this 15-barrel mash tun from Alpha Brewing Operations, with the help of owners Ben Wallace and Andrew Ansnick. Special shout-out to Dmitry, our truck driver from Kazakhstan who helped with the delivery. Nostrovia!

Save LA Craft Beer!!! As many of you are aware, LA Breweries have not been able to open, due to County COVID-19 restrictions. In every other county in California, breweries have been allowed to open for outdoor seating while partnering with a food truck, and we are asking the LA County Board of Supervisors for the same treatment. While safety is our utmost priority, the future of our businesses are in jeopardy due to this oversight. Our friends at the San Fernando Valley Chamber of Commerce (@SFVChamber) helped to create this letter, which emails and tweets all 5 Board Members with just one click. Our first equipment just arrived! Head Brewer Josh McCombs recieved our HUMONGOUS @alphabrewopslincoln chiller... while owner Ben Wallace mainly just played with the forklift.

The team at @hayne_architects , came out to assess the building after the mezzanine demo. It's going to be a cool place to hang out and look down on the action of where the beer is made, as well as get a birdseye view of the downstairs and outdoor seating areas!
