There is relief for traffic and non-traffic infractions in Los Angeles County

Effective April 8, 2020, no one will be allowed in any San Bernardino courthouse without a facial mask or covering. A facial covering includes regular masks, bandanas, surgical masks, cloth, material, etc. This new rule does not make any changes to the information previously provided regarding court closures.

Violation of the order is a crime punishable by up to a $1,000 fine or imprisonment up to 90 days, or both People may not leave their homes for driving parades or drive-up services or to pick up non-essential items such as pre-packaged Easter eggs or bags filled with candy and toys at a drive-thru location. Tuesday’s order also says faith-based services must be electronic only through streaming or online technology.
