Tonight, 9:00 p.m. marks the beginning of Spring and the Iranian New Year (1399). It is called NowRuz, the New Day. For the past thousands of years, many people in a vast cultural zone between the Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, bordered by Europe, Asia and Africa, have believed that Spring and New Year bring light and happiness to the the dark and sad days of Winter. It may be wishful thinking, but at no time in our lifetime it has been more desirable than the current days. Let's hope that NowRuz will bring freedom from any and all worries, mainly Coronavirus, to us and our families. Let us wish many happy, healthy and prosperous years for all.
Thank you Hon. Judge Pellman and Elie Seyedian, Esq., for the great topic, presentation and Power Point.
