For the past two weeks, I have started my day with 3 cycles of sun salutations. Doing this first thing (well, by my side, so 2nd thing), gets the day going in such a different way than looking at a screen does. My body and mind are so much more limber and ready to face the day. I feel more productive and can shake off that morning stiffness and soreness, since I decided that taking up riding again after 20+ years was a good idea. (It really is.) It feels so ...good that here I am, looking at this screen, so I can share it with you. I am no yogi, so don’t worry about that. I have used the Yoga Studio App off and on for years. Any time you see the woman in purple, pictured above, it’s a free class. If you follow along, it takes about 10 minutes. When you have it down, and follow your own breath, it may be less.
