The Turners have lost one of our former board members, Angelika Hegedus. The Los Angeles Turners thank her for her service in our Organization and her engagement for German Culture. Our condolences to her family, our hearts are with you during this difficult time. Her memorial will take place at Green Hills Cemetery, 27501 S Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275 and the service will begin at 1 p.m. Her close friend Carole Kulzer Brennan wrote a few words to remember her by.

Happy Rosenmontag! Our last GAMGA TV Interview is another very interesting one with the Los Angeles Turners Karnevalsgesellschaft. Hear about how they got star...ted, stories about their dance group, their Karneval travels and stay around till the end for performances from the Turners (plus so much more!). ENJOY! --------------- If you missed any of the interviews during this Karneval season, you can visit our Youtube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWtTYZkCU_bebwt92yzp36A OR our Facebook Videos (look for GAMGA TV Playlist). We will continue to post many more past GAMGA Gala performances long after Karneval comes to an end for the season, so don't worry about missing any of that fun! Lastly, GAMGA would like to give a HUGE THANK YOU to the small group of GAMGA members who made GAMGA TV a reality... Rob Gunnemann who came up with the idea, reached out to groups to interview and spent HOURS and HOURS editing and posting videos from the GAMGA Galas and the Interviews. Thank you for all your hard work! Markus Geissler who was our fantastic Interviewer (Great Job Markus!)! Markus came up with the questions, kept the interviews flowing and helped each flow just flow along so nicely. He also reached out to groups to schedule Interviews as well. Liz Gruening Hay who is our social media coordiator and ensured that you not only saw the videos on Facebook but also all the other social channels GAMGA is on (check out our Instagram page!). Thank you! DeeAnne Gunnemann who stepped in and did the interview with Edmonton. Thank you! LASTLY.. THANK YOU to all the groups who agreed to talk to GAMGA about their Karneval groups. It's a great piece of history of Karneval in North America and in Europe that we now have in our vaults. Great job everyone! See you in Las Vegas January 2022! www.gamga.org #GAMGAGala #GAMGA #Karneval
