Have you heard about the "Rental Assistance that will be offered to residents in Chula Vista? It is important that you apply before the March 15th opportunity.... Chula Vista will launch an application process by March 15 to distribute $16.8 million in state and federal funds to help qualifying residents pay past-due and upcoming rent, water, sewer, gas, and electric bills. These payments are for Chula Vista renters affected financially by the COVID-19 pandemic. The online application for the Chula Vista Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) will be available by March 15. Eligible residents who need assistance with the online application will be able to call representatives for help when the application is posted. The City is required to distribute the funds quickly, so watch for deadlines and be ready to apply for assistance.
