We filled the stomachs and souls of 55 of our neighbors in Santa Monica yesterday. Our most recent event feeding the OPCC/People Concern shelter was a huge success. Thank you to all who participated, and to all those who donated to fund our cause. Much more coming soon. - Alexander Ziperovich

Today is National Overdose Awareness day. Get informed, get Narcan (especially if you or someone you care about uses opiates, which is almost everyone), and learn how to use the stuff (it's simple). Never use alone, and never use without Nalaxone/Narcan and someone nearby to administer it if something goes wrong. The truth is that no one has to die from an opiate overdose anymore, and with the right tools and knowledge, we can stem the tide of overdose. Love & Peace,... Our Farmers Market was a hit! The Supper Society working with Skid Row Housing Trust & LA Kitchen, bringing fresh fruits and veggies to our friends living at The Star in Downtown Los Angeles. Thanks to everyone that made this event possible and check us out in the near future for new and amazing ways to get involved in your LA community!

Your generosity shows the enthusiasm that exists in this struggle against homelessness. I'm proud to be standing with you all against unchecked poverty in our city, working toward a solution to this pressing problem. Let's keep on pushing until every Angeleno has the dignity of a home. Also, note that I raised our goal from $300 to $500 based on the level of support and the fact that tomorrow we will be feeding quite a few people (at least 55). Thank you, everyone.
