Very sad news in our community. Lauren was the director of the LMYA swim team and the mother of three young daughters.

A note to the SWIM TEAM families re: COVID-19 Seahorse Families, Like you, we want nothing more than to see the 2020 swim team season proceed as planned. Summer at Las Trampas is something we look forward to all year long! ... With Shelter-in-Place orders and Distance Learning both extended until at least Sunday, May 3rd, the soonest that we can hope to begin Preseason practice is Monday, May 4th. We will continue to adhere to directions from health and government officials in the coming weeks. As such, we have elected to push back Swim Team Registration and Parent Job sign-ups until we have a clearer understanding of our start date and any parameters that might require us to restructure our season. Our current plan is to open Swim Team Registration and Parent Job Signups on Friday, May 1st at 12:00 noon. We remain optimistic that we will be able to proceed with a swim season, and will be sure to keep you apprised. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. Wishing you good health, Robin Mathers and Marisa Canoles LTST Co-Directors

Dear Las Trampas Pool Members, The Las Trampas Pool Board would like you to know that we are closely monitoring the situation and planning accordingly as things unfold over the next couple weeks. While everyone is doing their part in the short term, to flatten this pandemic crisis through social distancing, we are optimistic that we will all be able to get back to our normal routines soon. We value and love our Las Trampas Pool community, so hang in there as we ride out this ...wave and look towards opening the pool for the season ahead. For now, take care of yourselves and your loved ones so that we can enjoy each others' company at Las Trampas Pool soon. We will continue to monitor information provided by our government agencies over the next couple weeks. At that time we will be able to provide you with further updates, as they relate to timelines within Las Trampas Pool. Additionally, we usually schedule two general membership meetings a year and the current one we were scheduling soon will have to be pushed out for a later date (to be determined). Please feel free to reach out to us if you, or anyone in our community, needs help with anything. It takes a village and we are all here for one another. Stay safe and healthy! The Las Trampas Pool Board
