People love giving back and they love supporting businesses that give back! Always let your fans know what philanthropic efforts you are supporting and how. Jonathan Club showed off their charitable efforts with this fun post working with LA Works. They volunteered at Castelar Street Elementary where they built benches for the playground, painted a music mural in the hallway as well as a welcome mural at the entrance of the school! #philanthropy #supportingcharities #socialmediamanager #socialmedia #lasocialkarma #westsidesocialmediamanager

Depends Do your clients browse LinkedIn? Do you have the bandwidth and knowledge to effectively work the platform? Always ask these questions before jumping on a new platform! As a small business, we can’t be everywhere doing everything, typically we are limited by budget, time and know how. Here’s a few things to consider when deciding if you should be using Linkedin to promote your business: Are you selling business to business or more business to consumer? I believe you... can make an argument for both however if you are selling business to business, LinkedIn makes more sense for you. Do you have time to engage on LinkedIn? Answering emails, networking, commenting, etc? As with all social media, LinkedIn is most effective when you are social on the platform. Posting will get you some exposure, but the real gold in social media is when you engage...just like the real world! Also a few fun statistics to consider, 45 % of internet users who make more than 75K per year use LinkedIn. 4 out of 5 LinkedIn users drive the business decisions of their companies. If you’re selling B2B, that should get you excited! #socialmediatip #socialmediamanager #socialmedia #lasocialkarma #westsidesocialmediamanager

When creating content for your social media posts, be sure to think outside of the box...color, design, eye-catching graphics can all help grab your fan’s attention. This was a fun comic-book style series we suggested as an option for a client. #socialmediamanager #socialmedia #lasocialkarma #westsidesocialmediamanager #socialmediamarketing

It is important for all businesses to communicate with their fans about their ongoing Covid precautions and to keep them informed about changes in business hours, operations, etc... We prepared this video for Truxton's American Bistro to let their customers know that the dining room is open (YAY) and what is required of the guest to dine with them as well as what they have done to ensure staff and guest safety! #socialmediamanager #socialmedia #lasocialkarma #westsidesocialmediamanager #socialmediamarketing

Check out this creepy video Ashley put together for Halloween for our client, ELIAS Music, to promote their Halloween Playlist. She took a simple stock image and animated it by adding their music track, a flicker to the TV, fog, and a face and movement to the woman in the window. ELIAS Music - A Universal Music Company

I spent a few hours cleaning up my computer and going through content today. Chef Nick and I shot tons of content days before everything went nuts in Los Angeles. Almost all of it unusable now due to all the changes from COVID-19. I can’t help but look at them and think back at all that has changed over the last five months. I'm staying focused on what good has come out of the pandemic, I think we are all clear on the negatives no need to cover those. It doesn't help ...to circle around and around and around again on what may happen. For me, we've shifted our business; we’re still social media and email marketing, but now with a wider variety of clients. Personally, I'm leaning into the slowed-down pace and connecting more closely with friends. I'm taking more time to be intentional about what I do and where I spend my time. AND most importantly remembering to face the future with curiosity instead of fear See more
We're thrilled to be working with our new client Pacific Standard Prime in Redondo Beach! Wednesday is their big day: the grand opening! Working to open during COVID-19 has presented some unique challenges; however, they have pivoted, and they are ready! Give them some love by jumping over to their IG account https://www.instagram.com/pspsteak and giving them a follow! Lastly, one of the coolest parts about this project is the Chef; I met Chef Christine 10 years ago w...hen I first started my business. She took an interest in me and helped me get my social business off the ground by sharing her experience and pushing me. I have always been grateful. I love how things come full circle, excited to have her back in my life again! Check out some of my favorite pictures from our content day last week!
The last few months have been so crazy; I haven't had much of a chance to highlight projects we've been working on! Right as Covid-19 hit, we started working with ELIAS Music - A Universal Music Company back in March, and what a fun project! Thank you, Trina, for bring us on board! Here are some of my favorite animations, Ashley has put together for their social media using their album artwork and course their unique music!
So much fun helping out with Instagram Live for a client's five-week wine tasting class. Paul was hilarious, engaging, and full of incredible knowledge about wines. I'm also impressed with my client's pivot, setting up and coordinating the delivery of the wine each week, and the technology to stream the class was no easy feat, but with a little bit of patience, the class was a smashing success. The teacher and students were very engaged with questions and comments. #socialmedia #eventsocial #instagramlive

What an overwhelming week, many tears were shed this week as my team and I navigate a new paradigm with our clients, many of them restaurants. With the uncertainty of who will make it to the other side of this. This one hit me hard, Upper West is my longest client, my dysfunctional family and a place I feel at home. Here’s to facing the future with curiosity instead of fear Here is our note: Dear Upper West Friends and Family, With a heavy heavy heart we have decided to su...spend service starting March 20th until further notice. We thank you so much for all of your outpouring of support, we are thankful and overwhelmed by our community and all you did for us. We look forward to having you around the table again in a few weeks. Upper West Family See more
When Piero Selvaggio, takes over the Jonathan Club’s kitchen for a special birthday celebration. Some of my favorite pics from the evening. #socialmediamarketing #livesocialmedia
Few of my favorite pic from the evening as well.
We’re back at it with live events for our clients this week. First stop the Woodford Reserve tasting dinner at Upper West I put together this short recap of footage from the evening. Amazing food and some tasty whiskey as well.
On Saturday, I provided live social media for a client's quarterly service day. This quarter we were at Castelar Elementary, the group built benches for the playground, transformed the space by painting a music mural, a mural at the entrance of the school, and positive affirmation posters to be hung around campus. The reason I mentioned this because the principal said how excited the kids got over our last painting project at the school, he said the kids lit up when they saw it and ran over to take their pictures with the artwork! To hear that made my day!
Ashely put this fun little video together for one of our clients for Valentine’s Day!
