a light in the darkness artist: John Dennington I enjoy being outdoors. My goals include capturing wildlife, landscapes, and nature that some may never have the opportunity to see live themselves. There is an ongoing opportunity of composing the pictures from sources that are ever changing. I work to create photos that add value to peoples’ lives. A positive lasting impression brings me as much joy as I hope my photos bring to others.

Portraits: Group Exhibition artist: Amanda Adkins Amanda Adkins - Seedling 3 - Oil Painting - 24 Inches x 24 Inches - $800 ... Amanda Adkins is a native of Arizona and graduated from Arizona State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Art Education and specialization in painting. Amanda has had many solo and group exhibitions both regionally and nationally. Her love for animal folklore, health and homeopathy is reflected throughout her work. She is known for some of her murals and public art working with clients such as, United Healthcare, Downtown Tempe Authority, One Step Beyond and The Helen K. Mason Performing Arts Center. In 2013-2014 Amanda taught a community mural making course at Arizona State University, bringing mural making and proposal writing to college students. Because of her extensive art experiences Amanda was asked by KJZZ to do a storytelling event at Phoenix Art Museum that was later featured on NPR Morning Edition. One of her most recent projects has been turning her studio space in Bragg’s Pie Factory into a gallery space called Cobra Flute Projects to co-curate with her studio mate. Her love for the desert has kept her in Arizona showing her work.

a light in the darkness artist: Rebecca Kennedy My current goal for my artwork is to continue to build a cohesive body of work surrounding a particular theme. My artwork has recently had a darker mood, and I have been exploring my love for all things creepy. I have also been creating narratives within my work. Photos I take of various things in my day-to-day life serve as inspiration and reference photos.... Drawing is the form of art that I work in. I most often choose to work with graphite, or ink. However, I have been enjoying working digitally and experimenting with different styles within that medium.
