Spend your Fourth of July at Town Center Park East at the city's annual Santee Salutes event. Families who attend the event can expect live music, entertainment, carnival games, inflatable attractions and traditional Fourth food. A firework show will begin at 9 PM.

Grab the family and a large blanket and head over to Town Center Community Park for a summer concert. Concerts are held on Thursday evenings from June 14-Aug. 16. This free concert series, which is sponsored by Barona Resort and Casino, Cox Communications and Union Bank, will also feature food trucks.

Hello world! A young male jaguar peeks at the outdoors as his mother stands by. At more than a month old, the male and female jaguar cubs born to mother, Nindi...ri, are ready to spend some time in a large habitat at the San Diego Zoo. For the last two months, the siblings have been visible in the cave area at the Harry and Grace Steele Elephant Odyssey that serves as their den. Today animal care staff opened the door of this area, giving mom and her two cubs access to the exhibit with grass, climbing structures and lots of things to play with. See more
